On December 17th, our Choir once again shared the spirit of Christmas at St. Nicholas at Ground Zero, singing traditional Greek Carols for the Archbishop. All who attended were deeply impressed and touched as our students beautifully reminded us of Christmas in Greece through song and tradition. Thank you to Mrs. Giovanou and Mr. Eleftheriadis for the beautiful work they do with our Choir.

On December 16th, we were blessed to host two beautiful Christmas assemblies, each filled with meaning, reverence, and joy. The morning assembly was honored by the presence of His Eminence, the Archbishop, who offered his blessings and praised our students for their beautiful performances. Our third graders delivered an especially touching and emotional presentation, transporting us back to that holy night in Bethlehem. Students in Kindergarten, Grades 1, 2, and 4 continued the celebration with beautiful songs that filled the room with joy and placed everyone in the true spirit of Christmas. The afternoon assembly was equally moving. Once again, our third graders led us with passion and reverence, followed by beautiful renditions of Christmas classics in both English and Greek. The finale, performed by our 8th graders, was especially powerful—a heartfelt reminder of the strength of peace and our responsibility to choose love over conflict. Knowing that this performance came from our senior class, who will soon be moving on to new schools, made the moment even more emotional and meaningful.
