EVER TO EXCEL

On December 9th, we dismissed early so that our 8th graders, their families, and their teachers could gather to celebrate the Ring Ceremony—a cherished tradition and the first milestone of their senior year. It was a beautiful and meaningful ceremony. Father Aristidis and Father Alexandros blessed the rings, reminding our students of the values, faith, and commitment they carry with them. The administration addressed our students with words of pride and encouragement, honoring their growth and accomplishments. The ceremony was followed by a wonderfully organized reception, where families, teachers, and students shared quality time together in celebration. Our 8th graders beamed with pride and excitement, surrounded by those who support them most. Congratulations to our senior class on this important and joyful step in their final year at our school.

On December 5th, our second graders went on a trip to the Long Island Museum, where they explored, played, and created through fun and interactive art activities. Despite the frigid weather, they had a great time and represented our school with pride, enthusiasm, and excellent behavior. The trip was both enjoyable and educational, a wonderful experience for our young learners.

On October 31st, our eighth graders, escorted by Mrs. Kakivelis and Mrs. Vlachoyannis, visited the 9/11

Museum and the St. Nicholas Shrine Church where they learned about one of the most

significant and solemn moments in the recent history of New York and the United States and

experienced some strong emotions — a mixture of sadness, empathy, and deep reflection — after

viewing powerful images and items that survived that tragic day. The experience was an

emotional, reflective, powerful and meaningful lesson that will stay with our graduating class

forever.
