EVER TO EXCEL
The week of March 2nd was an exciting one for our Girls’ Basketball Team, who played two games, one away and one at home, and won both! Our girls played beautifully and represented our school with pride, determination, and great sportsmanship. Congratulations to our team and to their coach for a fantastic performance.
The 2025 William Spyropoulos 8th Grade Boys Basketball team capped off an unforgettable season with a thrilling 41–34 victory over A. Fantis in the Championship Game on January 9th, 2026. In front of an electric crowd, the team delivered its best performance when it mattered most, showcasing toughness, teamwork, and poise down the stretch after trailing early in the game. That championship win sealed a perfect 10–0 season, an impressive accomplishment. This group leaves a legacy as champions who set the standard for excellence at William Spyropoulos.
On December 17th, our Choir once again shared the spirit of Christmas at St. Nicholas at Ground Zero, singing traditional Greek Carols for the Archbishop. All who attended were deeply impressed and touched as our students beautifully reminded us of Christmas in Greece through song and tradition. Thank you to Mrs. Giovanou and Mr. Eleftheriadis for the beautiful work they do with our Choir.
